Bharat Ke Bharosemand Brand?

Whether it’s Electricity bill, Gas bill or a Railway ticket, one can see that Axis Ad-print-Media (India) Ltd. is conducting a survey regarding Bharat Ke Bharosemand Brands, and this survey is on air from last so many months, asking favour from the public to disclose their favorite brands for 15 different categories and some of the lucky ones will be rewarded suitably for their participation. It’s clearly written on railway ticket ad even on official website of axis APM (http://www.axisapm.com/brands_inquiry.html) that result of lucky winners is going to be announced on August 2010. Now we are into September but ad is still on. This shows the kind of hard work, dedication and devotion paid to this mega survey. If ad itself is deceptive decide yourself about the outcome of survey.

Boycott the common wealth games

Last night I was force to write down this article and the dedication goes to ankit dixit who unknowingly force me to write once again. Actually what happened on 12th of Sept. I have been one of the witness of Queens Baton Relay in Daman, so I told this to one of my friend Ankit and he replied very drastically “Ok that Queens Baton Relay-Apne desh ki ijjat k saath khilwad karne K liye ja rahi hai na, right? That was really very shocking for me because I never expected that statement.  So unwillingly I started defending Common wealth games…………our conversation went like this-
Me: We have “Jugad” for everything, don’t worry CWG will be a great success.
Ankit:  Nahi dost jab khel k time per koi tiles ukhad k kisi player k lag jayegi ya Pani barasne se ground bhar jayega to sab jugad fail ho jayega.
Me: Don’t be so pessimistic just wait and watch.
Ankit: Hum iske alawa kuch kar nahi sakte mai in khelo ka prabal virodhi hoon…………bhook aur sarkar se koi suvidha na milne se jis desh me log Maovaadi  ban rahe hain…………..jahan ki 68% abadi garibi rekha k niche rehte hai, us jagah hum arbo dollar games per waste kar k kise dikhana chahte hain aur adhe paise usme chand logo ne kha liye.
Me: Mere bhai whatever the case be then too we are better than most of the world iconic country’s in terms of economic condition and the pace of GDP.
Ankit:  per dusro ko dosh dekar hum apni kami nahi chupa sakte, ye sab kehne ki baat hain abhi India ko un countries k barabar ane me 50 years aur lag jaynge.
So at last I prefer to quit the conversation, because “you cannot fill anymore a already filled glass”. But after this conversation I was into the deep thoughts, even same thing (as my friend said) was said by one of the very famous writer of the books like “Five point someone” etc………. Even he crosses all the limit and appeal to whole Indian population that let’s boycott these games. But any one of us ever thought about what if we chooses to boycott CWG, it’s not about an individual or two, it’s about our nation pride, there are some 15000 people (Players and delegates))from abroad are coming to India from 75 countries across the world, and perhaps thousands of others to see these common wealth games. So this is one of the big opportunities - To create right Identity of India in foreigner’s minds. Opportunity to show them India is capable enough to handle these kinds of mega events, opportunity for the young Indians to prove their mettle in CWG and win some gold medals, Opportunity to support your own countries players live in your own land. Government is already facing a lot of problems and has lot of things to be settle down before this event and don’t raise one more prob by boycotting games.
I would like to share one of the real incidences of my life when I was working with Max India Ltd. Then around 4 tons of material got rejected due to some quality problem, everyone was afraid of losing his/her job especially people from quality deptt. Then one of the senior manager came into company and looked the terrified faces of the employee, and said “Are jab rape ho raha hai, aur tum chah kar bhi kuch kar nahi sakte to enjoy karo na yar.”  Now the ball is in your court, decide and do what is best for India and you.

Ban The Damn Plastics!!!!

What can be a most important day in common man’s life, yes absolutely the day he was born and as it is rightly said that every man has a day , the same holds true for me as today is my day. So I was just thinking about my future and I was amazed by concluding that Life is becoming more and more cumbersome for a common man like you and me. Problems in common man’s life are growing even faster than economic growth of India. We have got problems like global warming, surging food prices, unemployment, and ever increasing rate of crimes etc , the never ending list, an abysmal pit that has been dug by human being himself without being aware of the havoc it is going to wreck in the future . And there is mounting public concern about longevity of plastics which gets into the rivers, oceans and landscape and cannot be destroyed by any means without harming the environment. Even though many of the plastic companies are coming ahead with recycling plastic plants, but it can never ever be collected entirely for disposal or recycling. Albeit there is lot of hue and cry to ban the plastics products especially carry bags, but have we ever given a thought of the way to put a ban on this , I was thinking the same before I happened to be in R.P Industries one of the master batch production organisation located in kirti nagar industrial area in the heart of India that is none other than Delhi. I met with Anuj Chabra (Director) of R.P Industries and visited his facilities of master batch production. And without any hassles i would admit that they have got one of the most advanced laboratory for extensive research on variety of master batches, producing unmatched quality while keeping environmental safety into consideration. I guess by this way they are taking full care of the corporate social responsibility and showing how much do they care for the society.
India’s master batch market stands at 90,000 tonnes per year and 10% of it contributed by R.P industries. I asked Mr. Anuj why did he choose to get into master batch production, and I was literally amazed with his reply that goes like this “who says we are in master batch production, we are in the business of making life colourful.” We provide various colours of master batch which add aesthetic appeals to the product of common man, today’s society is consuming lot of plastics and enjoying the benefit of its cost/performance ratio. I was partially satisfied and couldn’t restrain myself to put up another question to him that what about harm done by this catastrophic plastic to our environment. And I came to know that R.P Industries is likely to come up with Bio-degradable master batch by which plastic will self degrade in environment, particularly polyethylene and polypropylene. Their bio-degradation will be caused by formulations that promote oxidation in presence of oxygen. This is done by including at the extrusion stage a formulation which makes it degrade, and leaving no fragment, no methane and no harmful residues.
Therefore banning use of plastics is not a solution, spreading awareness about Bio-degradable plastics will help as this is scientific solution, and at the same time we people need to be responsible for not littering the plastics products on the landscape and instead throw it at a particular place from where it can be recollected and can be used for recycling. This in turn can do a great benefit for the society.
Once our scientist made a remarkable discovery by inventing plastics such as polyolefin’s with by-products of oil refining which used to be wasted, and this time it will be R.P Industries. There exist solution for every problem what we need is to be little bit innovative. And after all we should never forget the evergreen Indian saying that “boond boond karke sagar banta hai “ so it’s time to join hands together and be a part of something good. And definitely all hands together can work wonder. So what are we waiting for?
