How to make a career out of one’s passion
Borowing from Arindam Chaudhari to succeed in market one need one more Ps along with Passion and that is Positive Energy! These are the two most important aspects that differentiate us from being a diamond with a high carat value! All successful achievers always have these two most important characteristics within themselves. They are extremely passionate about what they do... Passion for the poor is what made Mother Teresa go on and on despite being from a foreign country and being stuck in a dirty city with unseen poverty all around. Such people are also always full of positive energy. They never see negativity in anything! You talk to them about anything and they have a positive attitude. Friends of Sabeer Bhatia say that even when he was nothing, he would always dream big. That’s the attitude which led him to create Hotmail! Thus, a human being’s success is determined by his outlook in life, which is in turn dependent on his passion and positive energy!
Passion, which is an intense feeling, can be leveraged into cash generation if you know what it takes to do it. The ongoing recession has taught many people to be highly discerning as to what knowledge and skills they have in stock that can be used to create economic value in a field they like best. They seek and pursue their passion. They exercise raw courage to go out of their comfort zone and do what they may have not done before to make a living, fully realizing that passion alone without action cannot deliver financial value.
People who have excelled in converting their passion into sales recognize the fact that passion has emotional dimension that should be managed lest it distorts the quality of one's thoughts and actions.
What do we really need to turn our passion into a business?
1. Ask yourself, "Is this something I really enjoy doing and can sustain, or am I just swept up in the latest craze?
2. If you think your passion or hobby still has potential as a business, try to find out if lots of other people are doing it - who or what the competition is. What is it about your offerings that are unique or hard to find? Is this something people really want?
3. Remember, the customer is king (or queen). Don't underestimate the power of customer service or how a lack of customer service can cost you sales.
4. Network with other hobbyists or dealers will give an added advantage in long run.
5. Have fun. Once you lose your passion or drive, what made you go into this in the first place, you're going to lose business.
Now I would like to end this write up with a famous saying “Waste no more time talking about great souls and how they should be. Become one yourself!"

Unveiling The Secrets of Marketing
Being an MBA Graduate and management guru (for my batch mate) I have observed lot many friends of mine have a mind set of any quick fix instant technique to make sales. But marketing some stuff is all about knowing the people, understanding their psychology and it’s not instant at all.

So let me tell you the inner game of marketing the secret psychology of marketing. There are three mindset of marketing---
Scarcity Thinking –
Before joining the MBA, me and my friends were just figure out the ways, How to make millions of people giving us Rs. 5 each, it was just like a classified ads which says send us Rs 50 and we will send you back the secrets of earning quick money or earn 20,000 bucks every month by working at home. But why do people are going to pay you unless they don’t get value. So think about the ways to create value for the people first, give them value worth Rs 100 and then ask for Rs 10 in return and I can bet on this that you’ll get it for sure.
Learn to love the short end of stick –
Ever you have listen the fist trap of monkeys which is used in south Africa, what do the hunters do over there is putting a nut into tree hole which is just little bigger than the nut, and when monkey put its hand in tree hole it can feel the nut, it takes the nut in its fist, but will not be able to draw its hand out of that tree hole and that gives sufficient time to hunter to come to monkey and kill it. Monkey cost its life for a single nut and won’t let go the nut for saving its life. Human psychology is amazing, it’s scary and profound, and most of the marketer today does the same thing (As monkey in SA), wealth is all about a mindset and if you don’t have wealthy mind, you don’t believe in giving away money even for the sake of huge future profit, you won’t ever get it.
Don’t keep your best ideas secret –
In order to get money from the prospect, one need to give value to the prospect, and in order to give value throw away your best of ideas which you might consider your silver bullet, because until unless you won’t show them the value they can derive from your ideas, no one is going to pay, and once you give your best idea it will lead to positive word of mouth or say viral marketing. And it will build your reputation in the mind of customers, and that will lead you to the door of success.

Ops.. Sachin... You Too........
Bal Thakre who is father of Sive Sena which is MNS now commented back on Sachin “Cricketers should keep off from politics, He (Sachin) don’t have right to speak on this issue because all the cricketers are playing for themselves not for India, where are these cricketers when inflation rate in sky high, thousands of people are dying due to malnutrition, and when people are bound to live in slums in abject poverty.”
These comments Cricketer Vs Politicians have raised thousands of questions in more than 1 billion minds of India.
First thing is Sachin preparing to enter in Politics?????????

Sachin a big name in cricket world, having publicity more than the current prime minister of India, and standing on the verge of retirement from cricket world and Ads world too, So what can be a better way for this ambitious guy to in cash it’s publicity, are you thinking the same, what I’m thinking about. Yes for sure there cannot be a better place than politics and Sachin is on the same track. May be in next election you and me will be voting for Sachin Tendulkar.
Now coming to Raj Thakre what will he get by playing this dirty politics? So let’s go back to our history when east India company came in India and started playing “Divide and rule” strategy, and those White skin people have proved the potential of this strategy in India especially, By ruling us over 100 years. Now it’s turn for raj Thakre to do the same ‘Winning the heart of Marathi manoos by throwing the north Indians out of the state.’
Let’s talk about being a centre government why Congress is not taking any actions against raj Thakre.
First Raj Thakre is a prominent figure in the Marathi community , booking him or making any serious statement can result in serious repercussions ,posing a threat to law and order problems in the city , the ripples of which would then be felt at the Centre .
Second it’s all because of vote bank. Do you remember Varun Gandhi belongs to BJP and Congress thrown him behind the bar, because this action against Varun would have fetched a lot of Muslim votes but in case of Raj and Bal Thakre scenario is changed. If they take action against Raj and Bal Thakre Marathi vote bank may unite and Congress become in loss. After these incidents it is clear that Congress is not thinking about country but they are thinking only for themselves. It is prime responsibility of Congress being biggest party of India and ruling party of India & Maharashtra to take strong decisions and book Raj and Bal Thakre against NSA.
But I am very sure nothing would happen to Bal and Raj thakre until unless we Indians stop being fooled by these dirty politicians and their dirty lucrative tactics.

Life is a game….win it or better die……………

What can be a toughest time for an MBA student, especially those who work hard day and night with hope of getting good jobs, definitely its placement time dude! And conditions become worse if less eligible people will grab the good job easily. But as we all know life is not fun it’s an ordeal, each and every step in life, will put you in tough situations and those who come up with a flying colors become history for the coming generations, and those who fail to win this game, Vaporized with the span of time. So it’s your turn to choose Vaporized Vs Carving history by your own ways.
Getting job is not a big deal but holding it requires lot of hard work and knowledge, and those who work hard are easily capable of later. So dude it’s time to once again unite each and every cell of your body to put your 1000% to prove yourself to them who raised their finger towards you, to them who doubted on your capabilities, to them who passes sarcastic smiles on your every failure, and ultimately to yourself to your loved one and all who supported you on each and every step of your life.

4P’s.... not enough........................

Being an MBA student from one of the self called prestigious institute of Hyderabad, I think 4 P’s of marketing are not enough at all in this rapidly changing environment of globalisation, where each and every company needed to have some or other kind of “USP” to survive the competition, so friends I am here with 17 P’s of marketing, yes I have written 17 and it’s not by mistake, don’t be so surprised just keep on going................
As we know that whether it is retailer, wholesaler or manufactures need a PRODUCT (1), to satisfy the need of the customers to offer something to valuable to them, at a right PLACE (2), with right PRICE (3), and this product need to be PROMOTED (4) well to get through the clutter, yes clutter, because there are thousands of substitutes are available for every single product in market, thanks to the globalisation! Customers have choices to choose one of them which can satisfy their need and want.
One of the most valuable assets a company can have is PEOPLE (5) who are involved in every step of product flow from raw material, to final product to the final consumers, but most of the companies are not realising the worth of their employees and treating them as a machine at work rather than human being, don’t you think so, if not than let me tell you about a recent survey done by Fortune magazine regarding ‘best place to work for ’ and only 6% of the fortune 500 companies were able to get into this list, it shows that even top most companies of the world do the hell with fun and put their employees on rigorous work.
To succeed in the business in this era of 21ST century a company need a well coded PLANNING (6) to gain more market share and achieve their objective as well. One of the CEO said that ‘Business is not charity’ so companies needed a good return on investment and PROFIT (7) to survive and to compete with their peers. In any business timely PAYMENT (8) is a basic necessity to maintain their working capital, those companies which were unable to maintain it, has become part of history as Lehman Brothers.
Word of mouth is one of the most widely used and accepted marketing strategy, among the top notch companies of the world, this WOM is nothing but a need for PRAISE (9) to gain advantage over the competitors.
Sam Walton, Founder of World’s largest retail store chain said “customer is boss, even customer can fire the CEO of an organization by simply spending his money somewhere else”, so company are focusing on having long term relationship with the customers and adopting very PROFESSIONAL APPROACH (10) to deal with customers to keep them satisfy and to reap the benefit of customers LTV (Life time value).
Even today the customer is king but I won’t hesitate to say that ALL CONSUMERS ARE FOOL, HOW! So let me tell you that today Nokia Is market leader in mobile Phone manufacturing industry, with slightly above 65% market share, but the company which got the best quality award in same industry is Sony Ericson (IDC report of 2007) and having only 6% market shares in India. Guess! who is the most successful footballer of all times scoring the most goals in the history of international football. Obviously, the “perceived” answer is Pele, right? Wrong! The man is Daei Ali of Iran (109 goals). With 77 goals, Pele is not even second in the list (Ferenc Puskas from Hungary is, with 84 goals)! So it’s all about the perception of individual and this perception is based on the POSITIONING (11) strategy adopted by the company.
Better the positioning of a product or company the more PRESTIGIOUS (12) it is considered, member of your staff, call them your internal customers are driven by PERKS (13) and environment at workplace should be pleasurable (14) to improve the PERFORMANCE (15) of your organisation as a whole. Like tangible investment in the past, today’s management look for PERSONNEL SKILLS (16) and which is very much required to keep your customers satisfied and important factor to achieve PRODUCTIVITY(17)

India-Pakistan-War-Unification
Pakistan and Pakistani Like Hafiz mohammed saeed a leader of Laskar-e-taiba, Backed by Pakistan government and ISI agency, has a dream of not only occupying the Kashmir even according to his own word "Inshallah we will not rest till the whole India would be dissolve into Pakistan" that shows the level of Pakistani mentality, and they are on their way to do so. Hafiz send his muzahir to attack on historic Red Fort In delhi on 22nd December 2000 and again how can one forget about 26/11 attacks that lead to loss of few of our best ATF man's and hundreds of civilians.
Attack and attack on Indian soil until we bow in front of them that's what their strategy seems to be. And how we are replying to them by appealing them to go ahead for treaties for the piece of two nations even few of the top brains of India are suggesting that we should provide educational facility and scholarship to pakistani people so that we can make an modern-Muslim country, let me tell you very frankly friends that 9/11 demolition of twin tower performed by insiders immigrants who was doing job or else study in America. so you want india to be next in this category.
I ask you friends when,,,,,,,,,when will we learn to reply..............when will we learn that their is something known as tit for tat............why are we letting our thousand of people dying daily due to this bloody terrorist activity's and doing nothing in reply........................
Some or other day country like Taliban is going to Dissolve Pakistan in it, so it's better that we begin and take initiative of it. Now the time has come when some of our youth leaders take the command of India in their hands and let know the country of betrayal and impostors(Pakistan) that we are no more a mere spectator boss, we are almost five times larger than you in terms of population and almost 7 times in GDP.........................let them taste the blood also, why only we??????

AGHAST!!!!!! YSR REDDY IS NO MORE AMONG US........
Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy hails from Pulivendula, a small town from Cuddapah district of the backward Rayala Seema region.
His father Late Y.S.RAJAREDDY was known for his dare-devilish temperament and mercurial dynamism as a leader of the forlorn masses. YSR inherited these qualities from his father to emerge as a darling of the deprived AP.
Second son of Sri Raja Reddy, YSR was born on Eighth of July 1949 - was a natural heir to his father’s legacy. His father had always been a source of inspiration for YSR since his childhood. It was none other than Sri Raja Reddy who led YSR into active politics. If YSR had any role model in his earlier days it was his father. His brutal murder in 1998 inflicted a deep injury and left a dark scar on YSR’s heart.
And today 03/09/09 at 10.45 am it has been declared in news that our CM , Dynamic leader, the pride of Andhra Pradesh is no more among us, he died in a crash of chopper near kurnool........................
what to say more its really shocking, unbelievable even till now i'm not feeling like believing on this news....................even though he is dead, but he'll be always alive in the heart of 1 billion Indians...........

How To Crack Abstract GD Topics.....................
your reading this article is shows, that Ur preparing for GD now a days, and i'll say that you have chosen the right article to go through ...............................
See Friend Generally cracking the abstract topic is totally depends on the kind of attitude and knowledge your having, you might be thinking now that am i saying attitude!!!!!
yes i said attitude........ because most probably what happens in abstract topic that you relate it with positive or negative things you have faced or read so far, and that's what the moderator is looking for. and your knowledge helps you to combine the all old element (ur knowledge) and produce something new out of it, which can match with the topic in hand.
Suppose you've got a topic "Black Cat in black Room" how will you interpret it.......
1) Black cat can see you in dark room, but You cant See it.
2) Black cat is indication of bad omen and so is the dark room.
3) even You can Relate it with Black cat commandos.
Now once you have interpreted the topic so relate it with the Economy, business, Sports etc.
for example for 1st option you can say.....Due to globalization their is tremendous competition in each and every industry and this competition indicate the black cat who kept an eye on your every move even you might not realizing it, so to Get success in market one should have clear vision of future and clarity about the competition as done by dheerubhai amabani in cartel bear case. etc etc...
For option 2nd as in august 2008 America suffered from liquidity crisis (bad omen for world) but our indian politician doesn't given it much attention intially by saying that india is strongly insulated against these dark cloud of crisis and it wont affect india much, but at the end of the day India also suffered and indian government end up the fiscal year 2008-2009 with 6% deficit.
So you can see that its really easy to crack the abstract topic what you need to do is maximum utilization pf your F-----g brain.

9th P Of Marketing
Ghanshyam can be seen all over the town in search of blood for his son who is in hospital. Just when doctors are all set to lose hope, Chhajju panwala enters and gives his blood. The boy recovers and Ghanshyam is eternally indebted to the panwala. So much so, he gives up his favourite brand of mint for whatever Chhajju recommends.
Perfetti Van Melle’s new Chlormint ad ends with a message against irrational Ghanshyam-like behaviour — it’s the consumer who needs to choose the brand he wants to experience and not the panwala. Unless, of course, he has saved your son’s life and you know of no other way to repay his debt.
What the ad recognises is how the panwala is capable of influencing consumer choice and improve sale of one brand over its rivals. The panwala, in a growing category of products, has become the 5th P of marketing after product, price, place and promotion.
Prianka Sihota, brand leader, McCann Ericsson India, the creative agency behind the ad, says the panwala community has always been at the centre of of the Perfetti business plan in the country. “The current campaign for Chlormint draws its essence from the insight that consumers often do not exercise their right to choice of purchase and under a retailer’s influence take whatever is given to them,” she says.
Fast-moving consumer goods companies ( FMCG) seem to have recognised the advantages the panwalas offer. Post the sachet revolution in India, the panwala has diversified his product range from pan and cigarettes to bottled water to shampoo sachets, potato wafers and other snack food items, aerated beverages, candies and at times even pens and condoms.
In a way, this has been driven by the ever-tightening regulations around the sale of tobacco. As a result, the panwala’s dependence on tobacco has come down sharply over the years. The panwalas aren’t complaining, though. One in New Delhi says he has made enough to run a fleet of taxis, another admits to dabbling in the markets.
The biggest advantage they offer to any marketing-led company is their spread across the country. Pan has been a national addiction for long and panwalas can be found in pucca as well as ramshackle structures in every nook and cranny of the country.
Industry estimates suggest there are 14 million panwalas currently in business. Little surprise then, ITC leveraged its network of panwalas to good effect when it diversified into candies and snack food.
FMCG companies say the USP of panwalas is their location. A panwala is not very difficult to spot, which makes him a convenient point of purchase for impulse-purchases right from candy and biscuits to beverages. “There is no denying that a panwala has a significant role to play in the sale of confectionery,” says Perfetti Van Melle India CEO Sameer Suneja.
“Indians spend a lot of time on roads, parking lots or public transport transits. Panwalas are usually located near these spots. Hence, they make for great sampling points where one can pick up smaller convenient snack packs or even buy water,” says Mudra Max President CD Mitra.
Brand specialist Harish Bijoor has another interesting take on the growing importance of the panwala in the marketing plans of FMCG companies. “A panwala sits atop a perch dispensing products.
That itself indicates that he is in a position to hand down some knowledge to his customers and because of the one-on-one interaction he has with a host of people, they listen to him. That’s his advantage over any modern retailer.”
There’s more. A growing number of FMCG companies now use the panwala network to test-market their products. There are some serious advantages that a panwala offers over modern retail stores. As a pan shop is small in size, products normally get a good display and better service since only small amounts are stored at these units.
The verdict is clear: Even as modern retail stores mushroom all over the country, the traditional panwala’s importance has not diminished in any way and he continues to re-invent himself.
“Marketing people need to work with what I call the ‘panwala paradigm’. Look at the spectrum of products he stocks right from grocery items to now even recharge coupons for your phone. Tomorrow, he could double as a bill collector or even an insurance agent,” says Bijoor.
Ignore the panwala at your own peril.

India Vs China (Correct Me If I'm Wrong)
India has already joined the club of Trillion Dollar Economy and the pace at which we Indians are developing our resources, Technology, Trade partners, In fact Economy as a whole, and of course Reputation among other top notch countries, the day is not far away when this planet will witness India as one of the strategic leaders in South east Asia . India was rising @ 9%, but due to this recession, growth has plummeted at 6.7% which is far-far better than, if you compare it with its other counterparts and European countries.
India can be regarded as a brawny but it never can be a herculean until unless china exist, may be you find it flimsier but china the third largest economy in the world with GDP of $4.2 bn (IMF Report), and growing almost in double digits, is going to be the hub of all trades, the day will come when china will start importing all the required recourses from Asian countries and then export it throughout the world, it will be a centralization of trade. Does u acquiesced with it??????
If yes then mind the Japan’s economy, yet it is second largest economy in the world, after Second World War they grown like anything, but what about today, their economy growth is negative, having negative population growth rate, Export is down by 15%, overall china is going to leave it behind within few years. China is an economy which is dependent on its industry, and omen are not so good for Chinese industry, most of the Chinese industry has been taboo in U.S (Toys, Pharmacy etc.) and other nations like India (Cement Industry), and as we know about vicious cycle………… so china won’t be a china down the line 15 years.
The day will come (by the 2025) when china will be on same track as Japan today, and that day whole world hunt for novel leader it can’t be anyone except the auspicious nation of youth INDIA.
After all Slow And Steady Wins The Race,,,,,,,,,,,isn’t it.
